Peaches N' Oats Cereal

  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • ½ cup buckwheat groats
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup dried mulberries
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • 5 dates, pitted
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)
  • 1 dash salt
  • 2 peaches
  • 1 packet Justin’s Almond Butter
  1. Place oats, buckwheat, walnuts, raisins, mulberries, pumpkin seeds & sunflower seeds into a large bowl and stir well.
  2. Then place the dates, maple syrup, vanilla extract and coconut oil into a food processor or blender and blend well.
  3. Pour liquid mixture into the oat mixture and stir well. Add salt and stir again. Line dehydrator sheets with parchment paper and lay cereal out flat on trays. Should fill 1-2 trays.
  4. Next thinly slice peaches and place on another lined dehydrator sheet.
  5. Turn dehydrator to 118˚F and dehydrate for 9 hours.
  6. To serve add cereal and peaches to a large bowl and mix well.
  7. Serve in small bowls topped with Justin’s almond butter and almond milk.
*If you don’t have a dehydrator this recipe should work in the oven at 300˚F for 15-20 minutes. We have not tried this but are pretty confident it should work.
