It’s the last day of the Epic Winter Week, a 5-Part Series on Everything you Need for a Healthy Season!
* * *
Peter and I are pretty driven when it comes to living a healthy lifestyle. It’s something that’s really important to both of us and we have each other to hold ourselves accountable.
That being said, we find it a lot harder to workout during the winter… even though we live in So-Cal, it’s dark in the mornings and a lot colder than in the spring and summer.
That’s where ClassPass comes in.
In December, Jessica, one of the awesome employees at ClassPass asked us if we would like to give the membership a try. We had never heard about it, but I was really interested. We tested it out and fell in love. It’s an awesome service.
What is ClassPass?
ClassPass is a monthly membership to the best boutique fitness classes in your city. There are thousands of classes available to ClassPass members, including cycling, pilates, yoga, strength training, dance, martial arts and more. We favor yoga mostly, but I like a good barre or dance class now and again.

How does it work?
ClassPass has an online portal where you can register for classes. You get unlimited classes each month, but you can only go to the same studio 3 times per month. After the month, it resets and you can go to that same studio again up to 3 times. The website is super easy to use and it promotes how to switch up your workouts, which I really liked.
How much does it cost?
It depends on which city you live in, but it cost’s $79-99 dollars a month. We found this is a really good deal for us in San Diego. We have 3-4 yoga studios we like to bounce between, and usually pay a drop in of $18-20 dollars each time. So if we go to two classes a week, we’re saving a ton of money with ClassPass.
Our Thoughts
We really like ClassPass! I think it’s really fun to use. I’m a planner, and ClassPass makes it really easy to plan out all of my workouts for the week. They also don’t have any funky rules about cancelling your membership, and you can easily put your membership on hold when you go on vacation, or you can keep it and use it in the city you visit (ClassPass is in a lot of major US cities!)
We highly recommend checking out Classpass if you like working out at different studios or if you need some motivation to get your exercise on during the winter.
*We are an affiliate of ClassPass, but please know we would never promote something we didn’t believe in or use.
And before we go… today is our last day of Essential Oils Giveaway!
Today we’re giving away White Fir Oil ! White fir smells like Christmas, it’s very earthy and more masculine than some of the other oils we’ve shared this week. But don’t worry ladies, I love this oil:)
This oil is paired with this workout post because it’s energizing, empowering and great for muscle fatigue. You can apply it topically or use it aromatically.

This is the one area I don’t need help motivating for. I do my workouts at home and those minimum 30 minutes are non-negotiable. If I had to drive somewhere to do a class, it wouldn’t happen most days. :-/
I use Beachbody DVD programs and Yogadownload.com videos (I got a great groupon deal last year–a 1 year membership with unlimited downloads for $25!!), plus I try to ride my road bike and mountain bike at least once each per week. The saddle is my happy place. :D
It looks like a good idea. I’ve recently moved and the yoga studio I used to go is not as convenient anymore for me. So, I was looking into other options. This ClassPass seems a good way to check different studios at the same time. I guess I can find a list of the studios that are included on their website?
