Serves: 4-6
Ingredients
  • 1 whole coconut
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 4 cups filtered water
Instructions
  1. Soak almonds for 3-5 hours or overnight if you can. (If you can't soak, recipe will still work)
  2. Add coconut water (all liquid inside the coconut) into high speed blender.
  3. Then scrape out the "meat" of the coconut and place in the blender.
  4. Next drain almonds, if soaked.
  5. Place almonds in blender. Blend all ingredients on high until smooth.
  6. Using a large bowl and a nut milk bag strain milk through the bag into the bowl, removing the pulp and releasing the liquid.
  7. Discard the pulp or save for a later recipe, and place milk in the fridge and chill. Will keep for 1 week.
Notes
You can flavor the milk by placing 2 dates and ½ tsp. vanilla extract in blender after milk has been strained. Blend on high.
