Ingredients
Burgers:
  • 1 can black beans (rinsed)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup parsley, chopped
  • 2 cups thick-rolled oats
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 can tomatoes w/ green peppers (juice removed)
Toppings:
  • 4 leaves of romaine lettuce
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • ½ onion, sliced
  • dijon mustard
  • hamburger bun (optional)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Run your rolled oats through the food processor or blender until finely chopped and milled. Then pour into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Next, process all other ingredients in the food processor. Remove contents from and add to large bowl with oats. Mix well with hands until oats are fully combined.
  4. Form into 8 patties and place flatted out on an oiled baking sheet. Bake for eight minutes and then turn oven up to broil or two more minutes.
  5. Top with desired toppings.
Notes
-These burgers taste great alone or simply dipped in mustard
