Carmel Sauce:
  • 1 cup raw macadamia nuts
  • ¼ cup coconut nectar
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract
  • dash sea salt
  • water, as needed
  • 5 apples thinly sliced
  • 5 Tbsp. coconut flakes
  • 5 Tbsp. dried cranberries
  • 5 Tbsp. chopped pecans or raisins
  1. In the food processor, process all the ingredients for the caramel sauce until smooth. Should be thick, but not too thick.
  2. Place the caramel sauce in the corner of a ziplock bag and set aside.
  3. On a large platter or individual plates, layer the apples then place the nuts, cranberries and coconut flakes on top.
  4. Lastly cut a small hole in the lower corner of the bag and drizzle the caramel sauce over the top!
