Booster & Tonics – whatever you want to call them – are a fun way to speed up your weight-loss efforts.

They’re packed with superfoods that you most likely have in your kitchen, but don’t use often enough. All the recipes are hydrating and great for detox and digestion. Some taste good, and some you just want to get down quickly!

1. Beat The Bloat Booster Shot (cold)

Simply place all ingredients in a mason jar with an ice cube, shake and drink. This is best before or after meals.

Tea hot

2. Metabolism Booster (hot)

  • 1 cup of water, hot
  • 2 dashes cayenne pepper
  • 2 dashes cinnamon powder
  • 2 dashes ginger powder
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced

Heat water and stir in remaining ingredients. Drink while hot/warm.

Turmeric shot

3. Hydration Booster (cold)

  • 1 cup coconut water…We like this brand
  • 1 inch turmeric, look for fresh
  • 1 inch ginger, fresh
  • 1/2 a lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp. raw honey
  • 1 ice cube

Peel the ginger and turmeric as best you can. Place all ingredients in a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Strain it if you want, but we usually just drink it all.

4. Spicy Ginger Cider Shot (cold)

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar… we recommend this brand
  • 1/4 tsp. ginger powder
  • 1/2 a lemon
  • 2 ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a mason jar and give it a good shake, drink cold. Feel free to make this in the evening and leave it in the refrigerator overnight.

5. Stress Free Evening Drink (hot)

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 inch turmeric or 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1-2 tsp. honey
  • 1 dash black pepper
  • 1 dash ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla

Heat almond milk until hot and place in blender with the remaining ingredients. Blend on high until smooth. Strain if desired, serve hot.
