Yesterday I wrote to you about 5 things you should have in your fridge, and the response I got was awesome, I’m so glad you guys found it helpful.
Today though, I’m talking about the stuff you need to get out ASAP.
These foods are dangerous, nasty, and no good. They cause inflammation, weight gain, and even disease.
I don’t think they’re going to surprise you, but hopefully this will act as a reminder to toss them and start making your health a priority.
Here we go…
5 Unhealthy Things To Remove From Your Fridge
These are the big dairy offenders.
Cow’s milk isn’t necessary for strong bones or calcium. What it is good for is baby cows, and putting on a bunch of unhealthy weight – not to mention 65% of the population is lactose intolerant?!
It’s true. No wonder we feel so bloated after consuming it.
And don’t even get me started on the quality of the dairy – I mean that greek yogurt, yeah it may have less sugar and more protein (not such a great thing BTW) but it’s also full of hormones.
Cheese seems to be the hardest for women to give up. Mostly because we all say it over and over again before we actually do it (I was guilty of this too) and because we eat a lot of it, and don’t know what we’ll eat if we remove it.

It can seem like a huge battle, but it cleared up my skin and helped me lose 10 pounds FAST.
Instead try: Almond Milk, Coconut Milk, Coconut Yogurt, Vegan Cheese, New Recipes
2). Salad Dressings
I’m talking about the Ranch, Italian, Thousand Island, and even some of the “healthier” salad dressings too.
The ones that have soy oil, corn starch, natural flavors, modified food starch, dyes, preservatives, and tons of sugar.
I think of it as a chemical & sugar cocktail – and I don’t want that on my fresh organic greens… seems like I’d be ruining them, ya know?
3). Deli/Sandwich Meats
The International Agency for Research on Cancer has classified processed meat as a carcinogen, something that causes cancer.
Cold cuts and deli meats are extremely processed. It’s like taking meat (which already isn’t good for you) and making it even more unhealthy.
I love you friend, so please say no to the ham sandwich.
Instead try: Hummus and Veg Sandwich, Good old fashion PB&J, Quinoa Bowl, Taco Salad (with beans, hold the dairy)
These little boogers make it extremely difficult to eat healthy due to the sugar. They trick your taste buds into thinking healthy food tastes bitter.
They also make it extremely hard to lose weight.
Removing these from your diet actually isn’t that hard once you decide you’re done with them. I drank Diet Coke for years until I didn’t.
Same can be true for you.
Instead try: Water, Infused Water, Tea, Green Juice, Kombucha
