HB06 Self-Worth: What you should splurge on at the grocery store

HB06 What you should splurge on at the grocery store

.

Hi Friends!

We are back, Episode 6 is here and it’s hot! This episode got off to a rocky start, Peter went in one direction and I went in another. Luckily we came together and decided to share things we always have on hand, so they aren’t really splurges for us anymore, but I think you’ll still find some interesting things we “splurge on” or have on hand at all times.

What’s this episode all about, you ask?

  • The whole food ingredients you gotta have on hand!
  • Supplements: our must-haves.
  • Raw almonds, why you can’t buy them at the grocery store.
  • Superfoods: we don’t buy a lot, just a few key items.
  • What things we buy at Costco, and what we avoid!

Another stellar episode! Woot. Also, just in case anyone was curious there is a difference between refined and unrefined coconut oil. The refined one doesn’t have much coconut taste.

And on the cheap seeds, it may be an extra step to mill them in a coffee grinder, but what I do is just grind a big batch all at once (it only takes seconds) and then put that in a Mason jar and put the Mason jar in the freezer. It lastes a while like that.

Also, how are you guys going to leave me hanging out the double coconut stories. Ack. I gotta know now. ☺

I love the Coconut Wraps from Sunfoods (A splurge) and Wrawps (do you guys know they? They are a Los Angeles company that makes amazing raw food wraps.

If you are in San Diego you can buy Italian almonds, truly raw at Jimbo’s. Yum!
